LITTLE BIG PORTRAIT of Louise Grether
DIRECTOR OF ARTCURIAL MONACO
Director of Artcurial Monaco since July 2015, Louise has been living in Monaco for the past 3 years. After having lived in Paris and London, she has settled in Monaco with her husband who is Monegasque and their 3 children.
A James bond girl look alike, Louise who grew up in the middle of Hampshire and was educated in a convent, now feels very much at home living in Monaco where she regularly hosts expertise days, exhibitions and supports charities such as Mission Enfance or Fight Aids by conducting auctions.
Artcurial also hosts 2 major sales per year in Monaco for fine jewellery, important watches and Hermès vintage! They are held at the Hotel Hermitage in July and at the Monaco Yacht Club in January.
When asked how she manages to handle such a demanding job, 3 children and a pilot husband always on the go, she mentions very long to-do lists and a calm nature!
